Browsing
This Web site does not collect personally identifiable information from your computer when you browse this site and request pages from our servers. This means that unless you voluntarily and knowingly provide us with personally identifiable information, we will not know your name, email address or any other personally identifiable information.
When you request a page from our site, our servers log the information provided in the HTTP request header including the IP number, time of request, URL of request and other information provided in the HTTP header. We collect the HTTP request header information to make our site function correctly and provide you the functionality that you see. We also use this information to better understand how visitors use our site to ensure its content and functionality meet your needs.
Information We Collect
When we need personally identifiable information to provide you with a particular service, we will ask you to voluntarily supply the information. We will use your email address to 1) notify you about special offers and promotions as described in the email section of this Statement, and 2) send you periodic satisfaction or market research surveys. You may opt out of emails at any time. On occasion, we use third parties to provide us with additional contact information. For example, if we know your name and postal address, we may use a third party to provide us with your email address. We would then use this information for market analysis and marketing purposes.
Disclosure of Information to Third Parties
MARCAM does use the services of third parties, such as email service providers and marketing companies that act as agents on behalf of MARCAM. These parties are contractually prohibited from using personally identifiable information for any purpose other than for the purpose MARCAM specifies. We do provide non-personally identifiable information to certain service providers for their use on an aggregated basis for the purpose of performing their contractual obligations. We prohibit the sale or transfer of personally identifiable information to entities outside the MARCAM family of companies and hotels without your approval.
Cookies
Our Web site uses ‘cookie’ technology. Cookies are encrypted strings of text that a site stores on a user's computer. Cookies let us measure usage of various site pages to help us make our information more pertinent to your needs and provide functionality we believe would be of interest and value to you.
‘Session’ Cookies are temporary and automatically delete once you leave ParadisebyMarriott.com. ‘Persistent’ Cookies remain on your hard drive until you delete them. Cookies do not corrupt or damage your computer, programs or computer files.
We use third-party advertising technology to serve ads when you visit ParadisebyMarriott.com and sites we advertise on. This technology uses information about your visits (not including your name, address or other personally identifiable information) to serve our ads to you. In the course of serving our ads, a persistent third-party Cookie may be placed or recognized on your browser. We also use pixel tags (see description below), provided by our ad-serving providers, to help manage our online advertising. These tags enable our ad server to recognize a browser's Cookie and learn which banner ads bring users to our site. The information collected through this technology is not personally identifiable.
You may set your browser to block Cookies (consult instructions for your particular browser), although doing so may adversely affect your ability to use certain functionality and access certain site content.
Pixel Tags
MARCAM and its third-party service providers use pixel tags (also known as ‘clear gifs,’ ‘beacon gifs,’ etc.). Pixel tags are not visible to site users and consist of computer coding delivered with the Web page. Pixel tags are not used to collect any personally identifiable information about you apart from what you voluntarily provide. MARCAM and our email service provider use pixel tags to:
- Determine your ability to receive HTML-based email messages. Our email service provider includes a pixel tag in all HTML-based messages sent on our behalf. The tag activates when the email message is opened and flags the email address of the user as one capable of receiving HTML-based email messages. This capability helps our service provider send emails in readable formats.
- Track customer response to MARCAM ads and site content to help us enhance site usability and customer support, and provide offers and promotions of most interest to you.
Allow us to better target interactive advertising, enhance customer support and site usability, and provide offers and promotions that we believe would be of interest to you.
Emails about Special Offers and Promotions
It is our intention to send email communications that will be useful to you. These communications will relate to MARCAM offers and may include promotions of select, reputable third parties with whom MARCAM has strategic marketing relationships because they offer products or services we believe would be of interest to you. We may use a third-party email service provider to send emails. These providers are prohibited from using your email address for any purpose other than to send MARCAM-related email.

If you do not wish to receive email updates or offers, unsubscribe here. Every time you receive an email, you will be given the choice to opt-out of future emails by following the instructions provided in the email.
