The Curacao Marriott Beach Resort & Emerald Casino transformed its Queen’s Ballroom into a circus today to say “masha danki” to their customers, key partners and press. The “Customer Appreciation Event” featured clowns and food stations.
As part of the Marriott culture, Marriott hotels all around the world will be celebrating Customer Appreciation Week from Oct. 27th through Oct. 31st. The Curacao Marriott hosted the circus-themed event to pay tribute to customers for their loyalty and continued support. Each year as part of this initiative, the resort comes up with a special creative theme in efforts to outshine their Customer Appreciation events from previous years. Last year, the general manager conducted a live cooking show and cooked meals for all customers.
Out performing events from previous years is just one way the Marriott demonstrates their strong commitment to providing superior customer service and continuous efforts to identify innovative ways to honor and recognize its customers, key partners and press.
"Over the years we have developed close relationships with our customers and truly value their business,” said Mr. John Toti, General Manager of Curacao Marriott Beach Resort & Emerald Casino. “Hosting a special event in their honor was a great opportunity for us to say thank you."
The Queen’s Ballroom was made-over into a circus for the day. Decorated with bright colors, balloons, streamers, and party favors, the Queen’s Ballroom received a complete transformation. Clowns strolled the room to entertain guests, later in the evening they were joined by a brass band. Curacao Marriott customers indulged in special themed food, just like they would at a circus. Special prizes were also raffled including the grand prize which was a weekend stay for two at the Curacao Marriott.
“Our customers and partners play such an integral role in the developing and sustaining our industry,” said Mr. Toti. “They deserve gratitude and acknowledgement and that’s one of the many reasons we host this event as a gesture of our appreciation.”
Curacao Marriott Beach Resort and Emerald Casino is situated on its own private beach, directly across the street from the ITC and offers 3,000 square feet of flexible indoor meeting and function space accommodating groups of up to 360 people. The resort provides the perfect venue for special events of all sizes, large and small, with professional and friendly certified meeting and wedding planners. Today’s event is just one example of a special themed event that the Marriott is capable of putting together for their customers.
