Situated on a private beach on Piscadera Bay, Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort & Emerald Casino captures hearts upon arrival with an open-air design to evoke sense-of-place and personalized in-room registration (rather than a reception desk delay). Each of the 247 rooms and suites has its own private balcony or terrace, surrounding guests with crystal waters and island allure—all part of the resort's distinctive, customized group style. When it's time to meet, Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort offers three conference rooms and 3,000 square feet of space for the most intimate or expansive gatherings—with planned fun in the sun in between.

Day One:
Upon resort arrival, guests are greeted warmly with welcome drinks and cool towels at a private check-in, and then escorted to their rooms to settle in before relaxing on the sands of Piscadera Bay or lounging poolside as personal attendants deliver tropical drinks.

At sunset, the group meets for a reception to celebrate the start of an exciting week of networking, exploring and experiencing the spirit of Curaçao. Food stations give guests a glimpse of the extraordinary cuisine to come, from authentic island delicacies to Asian, Italian and Mexican meals. Exotic echoes of a local steel band and the deep, clear Caribbean provide the perfect backdrop.

Day Two:
Guests are greeted at an orientation breakfast where the resort's Guest Experience Manager walks them through the property's facilities and the trip’s agenda, and answers any questions.

After the morning meal, groups, clad in chef's hats and jackets, guests participate in an island version of The Iron Chef, where they're given ingredients and a theme to compete to see who can create the best three-course meal. In the mojito-making class, they learn the art of concocting refreshingly sweet beverages to accompany their meals. Guests take a break from the action and tantalize their taste buds with a traditional Northern Italian deli buffet at Portofino, our Mediterranean restaurant. Guests close out their long day of island learning at a barefoot barbeque with tiki torches and a reggae band on the beach.

Day Three:

Guests start the day with their choice of an American or Caribbean breakfast, as they are seated on a covered outdoor terrace overlooking the pool. Then let the games begin! Our Beach Olympics event makes soccer, volleyball and seaside sports competitive quests, and is followed by snorkeling excursions and other aquatic adventures at the resort's on-site water-sport center. Twenty feet off the beach, a spectacular coral reef beckons guests to explore Curaçao's top-ranked snorkeling and diving sites. Or guests can relax by the stunning Seabreeze Pool. After a day of play, the evening ends at a tropical poolside supper with a steel band and limbo, fire-eating and folklore performers engaging the audience.

Day Four:
Guests venture downtown to uncover the culture at Willemstad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with specialized boutiques, one-of-a-kind art exhibits and a "floating farmers market," where visitors may take advantage of the $600 duty-free limit. Picnic lunches include sandwiches, chips, seasonal fruit, fresh-baked sweets and bottled water.

In the afternoon, guests set off on a jeep safari to explore Curaçao's wild nature terrain and observe cacti, divi-divi trees, and even lizards, flamingos and wild pigs! Or, if an off-road adventure is not their speed, guests can enjoy relaxing spa services or a round of golf at nearby Blue Bay Golf Course. In the evening, guests gather at the Emerald Lounge for cocktails and conversation before they come together for a farewell gala on the beach. Complete with a Carnival dancer parade and a powerful fireworks presentation, it is a grand and exciting finale to the week of adventure, relaxation and exploration on a magnificent island.

Day Five:
After a leisurely breakfast and check out, guests depart Curaçao taking a week of unforgettable memories with them.
